Teams knocked out of Cup
|
Hi Maverick - I notice that teams knocked out of the cup in the wild card and final rounds are not sent back to the Pro League but just seem to float in space. Is it possible to send them all into the Pro League? That would give playing them a purpose. Many thanks - mfg aus Berlin.

I do not intend to let the Cup teams, which are droped out in the group stage or in the play-off, join the Professional League. It's too late in the season and it wouldn't be fair to the Pro league members who are fighting for the title.

They're still in the overall competition and used for constructors purposes, so I wouldn't class them as floating in space. I'm sure that the likes of Dominik and co. will make good use of them in the latter. His cup one has a great budget and has got rid of all the Prime tyres, so will be really useful there.
It's also an extra team to try and get a race win/pole.
Letting people move them into a league that isn't full up would be my suggestion. Not forcing them to do that, but giving them the option to, if they want to.
